On Saturday morning, the hiking whores made a pilgrimage, not to Mecca for once, but to Wildhaus. The group from Zurich, who usually only get to see gray concrete blocks, were so enthralled by the beauty of nature that they missed the bus in Buchs SG and were correspondingly late. According to the regulations, this will have repercussions. P.S. The Underberger schnapps distillery has already been informed so that production can be ramped up accordingly.
When we arrived in Wildhaus, we already had the first highlight to celebrate. It was Sophie's birthday, the blonde angel with questionable taste in men. Accordingly, the vocal chords were oiled for the first time and a hearty Happy Birthday was intoned. After everyone had filled their goodie bags with provisions at the starting area, the hike began. The 29-strong line-up was a colorful mix, also in terms of weight class. Everything from 55kg to 118kg was represented. Accordingly, some of the participants had to make sure that the engine did not overheat on the initial ascent.
During the hike, the group took the opportunity to tell each other about heroic deeds from times gone by and to enjoy the view of the Chäserugg. Fortunately, there were many new members who integrated perfectly into the group.
Once at the finish area, the fire pits and pre-carved “Brötlistäcke” set up by Hiking Sounds were used to grill cervelats and enjoy a good meal. Strengthened, we continued with Rita's first concert session. With Rita's cozy Reaggebeats, the audience slowly but surely warmed up for the Minister of Good Vibes. The one and only Dodo. Dodo then really heated up the place and there was no stopping the traveling whores. They jumped to the music like half-wild animals as if there was no tomorrow. (Unfortunately, there was no dancing to speak of). What was also noticeable at this point was that the wine they had brought with them was consumed to the last drop. Accordingly, the bar was replenished.
After the exhilarating concert, we took the opportunity to take a few souvenir photos and hand out stickers to Swiss artists before continuing our descent into the valley. The day had left its mark and our stamina had rapidly diminished.
Nevertheless, everyone arrived at the bottom in good health. After a few more extremely amusing train experiences, it was definitely time for most of us to go home.
